Starting from Scratch…

The Germination of a Cannabis Seed

Start off by placing moist paper towels onto a plate.  Place the seeds on top of the paper towels and cover them with additional moist paper towels. Use only dechlorinated water (bottled water or watered filtered by reverse osmosis which you can find at an aquarium store).  Place a bowl turned upside down over the plate to keep the seeds in darkness. Check daily to supply the seed with moisture by sprinkling the paper towels if necessary and try to keep it under the bowl, or a dark place that has a constant warm temperature (78-80 degrees Farenheit). Under these conditions the plant will begin to sprout a root. After the root is about 1/4 inch long, you can then transplant it into your growing environment!
